In Dracula, the story begins in modern-day London, where a young, curious journalist named Isabella (Jenna Ortega) stumbles upon a forgotten, ancient manuscript while researching for an article on obscure historical figures. The manuscript reveals the dark secrets of a mysterious count who once ruled over a distant, forgotten land. Intrigued, Isabella digs deeper, unaware that her discoveries are about to awaken something—or someone—that should have remained in the shadows.
Meanwhile, in the remote Carpathian Mountains, an ancient curse is broken. Count Dracula (Keanu Reeves), who had been lying dormant for centuries, is resurrected by the disturbance of his sealed tomb. Dracula, now in a weakened but still formidable state, senses the presence of the manuscript and sets out on a journey to the modern world to reclaim his full power.
As Dracula arrives in London, he leaves a trail of mysterious deaths and disappearances, each more brutal than the last. Isabella, unknowingly connected to Dracula through the manuscript, begins to experience strange visions and nightmares. She soon realizes that the figure from her dreams is real, and he is coming for her.
Isabella seeks the help of a reclusive historian and vampire expert, Dr. Van Helsing (played by an older, seasoned actor), who reveals to her the true nature of Dracula and the danger she is in. Together, they must uncover the ancient secrets hidden within the manuscript before Dracula can fully regain his strength.
The film climaxes in a tense, action-packed confrontation in an abandoned Gothic cathedral, where Isabella and Van Helsing face off against Dracula. In the end, Isabella discovers a hidden power within herself, passed down through generations, that may be the key to defeating Dracula once and for all—or dooming them all to eternal darkness. The trailer teases a blend of horror, action, and gothic romance, with Reeves delivering a haunting performance as the iconic vampire.
