In “Red Notice Part 2,” the trio of thieves and law enforcement finds themselves embroiled in an even higher-stakes heist. After the events of the first movie, FBI agent John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) has now fully joined forces with art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) and master criminal The Bishop (Gal Gadot). This time, their target is a legendary treasure hidden deep within a secret, high-security vault. The prize? The Crown Jewels of an ancient lost empire, which are said to hold immense power and value.
The story picks up with the unlikely trio having gone their separate ways. However, they are forced to reunite when a mysterious criminal syndicate, led by a new villain known as The Kingmaker, puts a bounty on their heads. The Kingmaker is also after the Crown Jewels and will stop at nothing to get them first.
Throughout the movie, the action shifts from Rome to Paris and then to a hidden fortress in the Swiss Alps, where the final showdown takes place. Amidst double-crosses and shifting loyalties, Hartley, Booth, and The Bishop must work together to steal the treasure and stay one step ahead of their pursuers. As they get closer to the prize, secrets about The Bishop’s true identity and past emerge, threatening to tear the team apart.
The climactic scene involves a high-speed chase through icy mountain roads, followed by an epic heist inside a high-tech fortress. In a twist, Booth pulls off a fake-out heist, leaving everyone guessing. In the end, the trio escapes with the treasure, but The Kingmaker is still at large, setting the stage for another thrilling sequel.
